Julie – Professional Celebrant
Tell us about your business. What services do you provide?
My business is Professional Celebrant Julie Bisacre and I operate out of Clevedon.
I write and deliver all types of ceremonies including weddings, vow renewals, funerals, naming and adoption ceremonies. Each and every ceremony I have the utter joy of writing and delivering is different because every fabulous couple I work with has their own special bond and wonderfully unique love story. That’s why I spend time getting to know the couple as only then can I ensure that their wedding day is exactly how they want it – intimate, personal and incredibly special.
I have a light-hearted, relaxed yet sincere approach. This adds a very special warmth to intimate milestone events within which laughter plays a key role.
How did you start your business? What’s the story?
Before training as a celebrant in 2019 I ran a successful business in Queen’s Square called Present Company. In 2021 I sold the business after running it for 14 years. In that time I got to know so many Clevedon residents and was also involved in the group Clevedon Pride and the Clevedon BID actively taking part in community projects.
What is the best thing about running a business in Clevedon?
I am thrilled I live and work in Clevedon and the surrounding areas as it has everything you could want in a town. I feel privileged to be part of people’s rites of passage, celebrating the most important times in their lives.
I have worked in many local venues including Clevedon Hall, the Salthouse fields, Orchard Farm, Bullocks Farm and private homes.
Many people don’t realise that I can perform any ceremony in any venue which frees them up to have exactly the kind of ceremony they would like , albeit a wedding or a funeral in your their garden or ’special’ place.
