Tell us about your business. What services do you provide?
We do health and wellness, and we stock a new range which includes lots of plant based foods, so we cater for vegetarians, vegans, and also gluten free. Holland and Barrett are really focusing on plant based at the moment, and trying to push that 30 plants points a week. Lots of our packaging now tells you about plant points. We’ve stepped away from high sugars in our products, and now, even if it looks like you’re having a naughty snack, you’re not as it has plant points in it.
How did you start your business? What’s the story?
I’ve worked my way up from sales associate to manager. I ran Bristol stores and then due to health issues I took a step back and came to work in Clevedon because it’s a nicer pace of life than running Cabot Circus.
What is the best thing about running a business in Clevedon?
Clevedon has a nice community, so you get to know your regular customers which is much nicer than a larger store. They come back and tell you how they’ve got on and if the advice we have given them has worked.
