Are you interested in books and publishing? Do you have some spare time to contribute to the local community?
The Clevedon Community Press, part of the Clevedon Community Bookshop, is looking for willing helpers to join a team of volunteers, on an occasional basis.
The Press publishes books of all genres, particularly those with relevance to Clevedon and the surrounding area and by local writers.
You would have the opportunity to work collaboratively within the volunteer team on all aspects of bringing a publication to fruition; from liaison with writers and printers, proof reading and editing, through to publicity, marketing and helping to organise events.
Previous experience would be valuable, but training and support will be provided. Most important are enthusiasm, flexibility, and the ability to cooperate with others towards a shared goal.
