The Fallen Tree Micropub
On Clevedon’s thriving Hill Road, you’ll find the award-winning The Fallen Tree Micropub. Established in 2018, this was North Somerset’s first ever micropub and has gained a terrific reputation for great beer, other quality and locally-sourced drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. In 2026, this independent Free House won CAMRA’s Pub of the Year title for the Bristol & District region – a huge achievement for a tiny pub!
If you like a nice pint, you’ll love the ‘Tree! We pride ourselves on offering the very best beers from the very best local breweries – all served straight from the barrel. If you’re not sure what to choose, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to lend a hand. Why not try a ‘taster tray’ with a trio of tempting tipples?
But it’s not just about the beer! We have a wide range of locally-sourced ciders, wines, gins and other spirits, soft drinks and low-alcohol alternatives. We don’t do food, apart from bar snacks (including the legendary Snack-o-Rama!), but you’re always welcome to bring your own food in – there are plenty of eatery options nearby.
Being a micropub, we’re small – and often busy – but we’ll find you a seat inside or, if it’s sunny, there’s additional seating on the pavement outside the pub. We occasionally have music or other (often silly) events, but quality conversation is our USP – be it about beer, birdlife or something else. And absolutely EVERYONE is welcome!
