Joy – N Joy Crafts
Tell us about your business. What services do you provide?
We provide lots of arts and crafts stuff, models etc. I’m really looking into getting workshops up and running for total beginners, including crochet, knitting, card making, quilling, painting by numbers, crystal art and lots more. We also run games workshops, where you can paint Warhammer figures.
How did you start your business? What’s the story?
I’ve always been really interested in crafts, certain ones like card making, crochet, teabag folding. Not to the extent we are today, my knowledge has come a long way since we opened. Originally we were going to do an online shop, but then we decided to open the shop. My partner named it N Joy Crafts – instead of being Enjoy Crafts, we used my name. We found this place and we opened officially on the 1st November 2019, and I haven’t looked back since.
What is the best thing about running a business in Clevedon?
I’m born and bred in Clevedon, I actually had my ears pierced in this very shop when I was 11, when it was Hair Flick. The customers have been brilliant, and have just given me so much support.
N Joy Crafts is on Old Church Road, and is open 9am – 5pm Monday – Saturday.
