Based in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset Environment Company were set up by North Somerset Council in 2020 with the goal of delivering the Council’s Municipal Waste & Recycling collection service. They have since expanded commercially with the launch of fly tip clearance, waste transfer, highways and traffic maintenance and events services, as well as offering reliable and competitive commercial waste & recycling management solutions to businesses in and around North Somerset.
They are committed to helping businesses manage their waste and recycling efficiently, while providing advice on best practise to further reduce environmental impact, an ever-present focus with the introduction of the Government’s Simpler Recycling regulations being introduced from March 31st. Simpler Recycling will introduce better standardisation of materials collected to increase the amount we all recycle and reduce that which is simply thrown away never to be reused again.
