Men’s Talk Club Clevedon to Open Doors for Male Mental Health Support

Men’s Talk Club Clevedon, spearheaded by Simon Johnson and Stephen Hoare, offers a vital platform for men to address and enhance their mental health. This initiative responds to the pressing need to tackle male suicide rates, which tragically claim the lives of too many men under 49 years old, with approximately three-quarters of all suicides in the UK being male.

The club, an affiliate of Talk Club, a prominent UK Male Mental Health Charity, is committed to providing a safe and confidential environment where men can freely express themselves without judgment. Men’s Talk Club Clevedon aims to foster open dialogue and support among men, acknowledging the importance of talking as a crucial step towards improving mental well-being.

At Men’s Talk Club Clevedon, participants are invited to engage in honest conversations, with each man given the opportunity to speak while others listen without interruption or judgment. Confidentiality is paramount, ensuring that what is shared within the club remains within the circle. Attendees have the option to remain anonymous if they wish, further facilitating a safe and non-judgmental space.

Adam Beck, the generous owner of The Mortgage Centre, has graciously provided the venue for Men’s Talk Club Clevedon. His support underscores the community’s commitment to addressing mental health challenges and providing accessible resources for those in need.
