Situated at 36 Old Church road on the front of Clevedon’s historic Curzon Cinema, Clevedon Vintage is a charming little space full of vintage treasures from the early 19th century to the 1970s and very occasionally beyond. With a particular emphasis on the 1950s, the shop contains a vibrant collection of furniture, homewares, crockery, lighting and textiles, with colour and texture the central theme that brings the collection together.
Owner Clare Mactaggart has a background in film and TV as a costumer designer and model maker; continuing in that vein, the shop also sells upcycled vintage pieces as well as offering upholstery and interior design services for those that need a little guidance on how to place the pieces in their home. Sourcing of furniture is also offered for those that would like to track down particular items.
As well as buying items directly from the public, Clevedon Vintage offers a sale on commission service with proceeds split between the shop and the seller when an item sells.
