This summer holidays, take a look around Clevedon’s town centre with our exciting Nature Trail. A fun sheet can be collected from shops in the village. See what trees you can identify, spot some unusual shop signs and take part in the games on the sheet. We are also challenging you to create a work of art!
Created by Clevedon BID, we hope it will create a bit of a ‘buzz’ and help celebrate the wild world we can find all around us. The Nature Trail through the Village is appropriate for young children (and their parents!) with trail packs collected from participating shops – we will also promote the trail and other activities in local schools. The trail involves identifying some of the trees, insects etc we have in town and spotting some interesting and artful shop signs, plus puzzles as part of a competition.
Avon Wildlife Trust are offering one lucky winner a year’s Family Membership (normally £60.00) which includes free activities and other children’s magazines four to six times a year.
To be a winner, we are asking that you build, paint or sew a BUTTERFLY, having purchased materials from at least one of the shops in the Village. So, when you return your completed sheet, along with your creative butterfly, please also add the receipt to show which shop you bought materials from.

While you’re on your wander, make sure to look up and view the new nature themed additions to the skies! Butterflies and flowers are just some of the new additions to The Village this summer!
So – collect your sheet from any of these shops, return your completed sheet, plus Butterfly, plus receipt to any of the shops – it doesn’t matter which – by the END of the summer holidays, and stand by for us to announce the winner. Make sure you leave your name and a contact number on your sheet!
