Clevedon is preparing for a truly magical Christmas as community groups, traders, schools, and volunteers join forces to bring festive cheer to every corner of the town.
This year’s celebrations are being shaped through a powerful partnership of local organisations and businesses. Together, they’re creating a town-wide experience designed to delight residents and visitors alike.
Among those contributing to this collaborative effort are Discover Clevedon, HAB Traders (Hill Road, Alexandra Road, and Bellevue Road), Town Centre Traders, Clevedon Pier, Clevedon Community Centre, Marlens (Marine Lake), Avon Fire and Rescue, Shoplands, Clevedon School, and Clevedon Baptist Church.
Discover Clevedon has pledged £15,000 to support a range of Christmas activities. Community groups have applied for small grants through a simple funding form to help bring their festive ideas to life. Clevedon Town Council is installing new Christmas lights in Queen’s Square, adding a vibrant glow to the heart of the town.
Highlights of the 2025 Festive Season will include:
- A festive themed late night shopping event in the town centre, with a parade, lights, music and entertainment from 4-7pm to kick off the Christmas spirit on 21st November.
- HAB Traders are once again transforming Hill Road and the surrounding streets with their signature sparkle and seasonal decorations.
- Clevedon Pier will shine as a glowing landmark, creating a stunning backdrop for the town’s celebrations.
- Marlens (Marine Lake) is curating a special lakeside festive experience, tying into the town-wide Christmas theme.
- Clevedon Community Centre is lighting up the gardens and hosting Santa.
- Clevedon Baptist Church will host warm and welcoming community gatherings, reminding everyone of the season’s true spirit of togetherness.
