In a shining example of community spirit, key groups have come together to create a joyful, town-wide festive season. Following a few challenges in previous years, this year’s effort promises a smooth, well-coordinated celebration for residents and visitors alike.
Stronger Together: A Town-Wide Effort
Groups from across Clevedon have joined forces this year, including Discover Clevedon, Clevedon Town Council, HAB Traders (Hill Road, Alexandra Road, Bellevue Road), Town Centre Traders, Clevedon Pier, Clevedon Community Centre, Marlens (Marine Lake), Avon Fire & Rescue Service Clevedon School, and Clevedon Baptist Church.
Highlights include:
- Clevedon Town Council is leading planning meetings, supporting collaboration of events in the Town Centre.
- Discover Clevedon has pledged £15,000 to support festive activities, with grants available via a simple funding form.
- HAB Traders will light up Hill Road and surrounding streets with seasonal sparkle.
- Town Centre Traders are helping transform the Triangle into a festive hub.
- Clevedon Pier will shine as a glowing landmark for the town.
- MARLENS (Marine Lake) is curating a lakeside festive offering in keeping with the town-wide theme.
- Community Centre family event, lighting up Sunhill Park.
- Clevedon Baptist Church is bringing warmth, hospitality, and inclusivity to the season.
Businesses across Clevedon will be following the theme of the Nutcracker, and will be creating some impressive festive window displays.
